As a Microsoft Power Platform & Dynamics 365 Developer, you will play a vital role in modernizing and automating internal operations and instructor and student engagement systems. You will be responsible for building and supporting business-critical applications that streamline processes, enhance data insights, and improve outcomes for the populations we serve.
🤝 Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy custom applications and workflows using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI, tailored to the needs of the online university system (e.g., case management, self-service portals).
- Utilize Liquid and other templating languages to enhance platform functionality.
- Configure and customize Dynamics 365 CE/CRM to support service delivery operations.
- Contribute to secure and scalable full-stack solutions, leveraging front-end technologies (React/Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS) and back-end technologies (Dynamics 365, Dataverse).
- Integrate Power Platform and Dynamics 365 with third-party systems (e.g., internal platforms, email marketing tools, student and instructor management systems).
- Collaborate in the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Manage and maintain code repositories using version control systems such as GitHub and Azure DevOps.
- Partner with program managers, operations staff, and leadership to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
- Implement and maintain custom plugins using C#.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with sector-specific regulations (e.g., FERPA, GDPR, and other applicable frameworks).
- Support reporting and data visualization initiatives to promote transparency and accountability across programs.
✅ Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Dynamics 365 CE/CRM.
- Proven expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse for building scalable business solutions.
- Solid experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with the specific needs of the Higher Education and Non-Profit sectors, including case management and student/instructor support systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on empathy, collaboration, and bridging technical and non-technical teams.
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Fluent in Spanish, enabling effective collaboration with regional and international teams.
💻 Preferred Qualifications
- Full-stack development: React, .NET Core/C#, SQL, with additional experience in jQuery and Bootstrap.
- Power Platform extensions: Hands-on experience with the Power Apps Component Framework (PCF).
- Integration & development: Strong background in front-end development, REST API integration, and version control (Git).
- Cloud technologies: Experience with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Key Vault).
- Sector knowledge: Prior experience in the Higher Education/Non-Profit sector, with familiarity in platforms such as Canvas and Anthology.
- Low-code/no-code solutions: Proven ability to deliver solutions that empower non-technical staff.
